According to the list of Emilie Mayer's works on Wikipedia, this is her 4th symphony to be composed. Performed in 2012 in a reconstruction by conductor Stefan Malzew (along with her Faust overture). (Her 5th and 8th symphonies are presumed lost; the "5th symphony in F minor" which has been recorded is believed to have been her 7th, 1855-56, premiered 1862.) A commercial release of the 2012 performance of symphony no.4 (together with her piano concerto in B-flat and other works) will be issued late in 2018.
