Wrocław University Library has, according to the NUKAT catalog, 22 orchestral parts for the 3rd symphony (Hofmeister publication, estimated by them to be first edition from the plate.) NUKAT also lists symphony 2 and a number of other AF Hesse works. (Other major sources include ÖNB.)

AMZ for 8 April 1835, pp.235-6, refers to a composer-conducted performance, Leipzig. The archives of the Leipzig Gewandhaus gives a date of 6 November 1834 for this performance, a concert that also included the (a) piano concerto by Hesse and his piano Rondo capriccioso along with works by Carl M Weber.
