A review of an early performance- perhaps the premiere- appears in the Jan. 11 1896 issue of "La Chronique des arts et de la curiosité: supplément à la Gazette des beaux-arts" (and in other places); (prelude to the drama) Floréal by Amédée Dutacq was another work on the program, etc., by the Concerts Colonne et (de?) Lamoureux (and? of?) the National Society of Music.
