first published in or before 1892 - excerpted in this 1892 e-book which, if the date is not a typo and if I am not misunderstanding, suggests that 1914 is a reprint. so at least that one movement dates back to 1892... - Schissel
- Interesting. Entirely possible it was published back that far. The score here appears to have been engraved in 1914, so it's not a reprint of something earlier - at least not 30 years earlier. It looks like Schirmer's house engraving from the first 3 decades of the 20th century. (Boston Music was owned partially by Schirmer back then). Carolus 05:05, 1 April 2011 (UTC)
