  • The 1st suite for brass septet (the timpani and tubular bells are optional, and appear only in the 1st and final movements) is modern-classical (sometimes quite modern) and contains five movements: a solemn intrada, a scherzo, a march, a (slow) fugue, and a finale (with partial reprise of the intrada). The score posted here is an improved version of an entry for the 2008 BCMW Composition Contest. Digital recording with Sibelius 4 and Kontakt Player Gold. Score moving videos on my YouTube-channel. First performance: November 10th, 2010, by the Lone Star Youth Orchestra, Arlington, Texas, USA.
