Recorded on a cpo CD. Date often given as 1865 in reviews of this CD ("Rudorff's 1865 sextet...") but was performed in manuscript as early as 1863 (AMZ Neue Folge, v.1, 16 December 1863.) A description of an unsigned autograph of the sextet gives its date as 1862. (The above-linked book also gives "appeared end of 1864 from Senff in Leipzig". HMB received it in 1865, but that is not always the date of publication.)
