Collection of six sonatas for two violins and double bass (with optional accompaniment) in Baroque style. These six sonatas—particularly No. 1 in G minor (OWV 13) and No. 2 in A major (OWV 14)—are among the earliest works composed by Orefice. As such, they originally contained some imperfections in counterpoint and voice leading. For this reason, the composer undertook a complete revision of the collection, refining the harmonic structure and improving the contrapuntal writing.
