Vocalise? Spoken text? Language? Is there a chorus as well as solo voices and orch.?... - Schissel (see Melartin Society page - it appears the text is by the composer and in Finnish)
- While suites often have their own, separate, pages (see Nutcracker suite, nutracker ballet, e.g.), this "orchestra suite" appears to contain items which are not part of the two acts of the ballet listed. Was there originally a third act that was subsequently set aside - which the composer extracted items from? Quite confusing. Carolus
