Grove doesn't give this sextet (or any of Holbrooke's sextets) a number, but it does give a subtitle of 'Israfel'. Op.33b is the Miniature Characteristic Suite for woodwind quintet.

Lesley Alexander Prize, 1901 (source of 1901 date for early version??) However, at the end of the ms there is "Fine. 11-11-02."

Israfel is used by Watt/Forbes also (and, I believe, other sources.) (Note: date on an autograph (original or autograph copy by composer, either...) does not always have to do with date of composition, beginning or completion thereof...) Title was altered to Israfel in 1934. Sextet No.3 is more accurate. See pp.192-3 of Watt/Forbes (2015).
