This firm published vigorously in Berlin from 1862 until the 20th century, with 700 items in the catalogue by 1900. Most of the output was dances for piano. However, from the l870s there were many works for other instruments: for strings by Ed. Braun, E. Bach and S. Philipp (14 Tanz-Albums for various combinations), and for wind instruments by Heinze, Chr. Frehde (cornet), Tillmetz (flute), Kiel, Kroepsch (clarinet, 25 items by Kroepsch including the studies,1880-81) and Kudelski, (horn, including the 1st ed of the concertino in 1884).
