Navigation etc.

  • The published version is for chorus and piano. The chorus is found only in the trio section, where piano just doubles it. Is seems that Olsen usually published marches only in a piano reduction, cf. other marches by him available on IMSLP. By contrast, the ms wind band version does not have any chorus. Moreover, the parts (#540710) have many additional instruments compared with the apposed full score (#540709).
  • The wind band version published in 1922 (?) in a collection of marches by Olsen: Norske militærmarscher (3die serie), Norsk musikforlag (plate 5006). - Nb entry
