Based on Rondo for Violin and Piano, WoO 41 (Beethoven, Ludwig van); Kreisler has omitted the piano solo sections, and transposed it from G to E♭ major. Kreisler's fingering for the E♭ major version gives the student plenty of practice in playing in high positions on the three lower strings.
