I had the great fortune to meet Pascal Gallois in a course of bassoon who he came to teach in Morelia, Mexico. After the course It was him who invited me to talk for hours in a very pleasant conversation and showed me how humble is a real and true virtuoso. This immediately detonated my desire to write a piece for himself and his instrument.
