Extra Information | From Antonin-Dvorak.cz: Occasional piece written for the "ball committee of the Academic Readers’ Association as the opening number" for a ball in January 1880. The "1892" edition by Peters cited at antonin-dvorak.cz is evidently only a reprint of the piano 4 hands arrangement first published by Urbánek (Monatsbericht (1892), p.6). There is an arrangement for orchestra published by Peters from 1934, but it is by Bohuslav Leopold, not the composer (Monatsbericht (1934), p.142). |
