The Wagner-Werk-Verzeichnis lists two versions of WWV 23: WWV 23A for piano solo and WWV 23B for piano 4 hands. It appears that only the piano 4 hands version was published during Wagner's lifetime. A version (listed as an arrangement although whether by Wagner or someone else is not specified) for piano solo was published by Breitkopf & Härtel in 1889 (Monatsbericht (1889), p.416).
