The Journal général announces the publication of the "op.34" piano trio of Mayseder by Richault (as forthcoming, I think, but almost certainly the work would be ready for the publisher by the time that announcement appears, so that composition I think could be dated by 1825, the date of the journal, and publication by at latest somewhat later.) To judge from the description, the trio was sold together with a fantasy on a popular air for guitar solo by E. Berat. (Schissel)
Op.54 is the opus number also of an air varié by Mayseder for violin and orchestra (or piano) published by Richault in 1837. Publication noted in the Bibliographie de la France 1e série, 26e année (40e de la collection), Nº 51, 23 Décembre 1837, p.627, r.306.
There are at least three piano trios by Mayseder with opp.nos. preceding this one (opp.34, 51 and 52), which is interesting -- (so 54 is probably a typo...)
