Published between 1780 and 1817 (probably 1790s, given the plate; mentioned- as Sonate Op.12 (for piano, violin and cello) by J.G. Rieff, in the 1817 Handbuch der musikalischen Literatur, p.293.) (Our parts describe as by "Rieff", it seems?, but Whistling (1817) gives "J.G. Rieff" which seems to agree with the composer assignment assumption here, though several Rieffs were composing at the time and so this did after all have to be checked.)
