Originally conceived as a Concerto for orchestra or a Concerto for orchestra (with piano), not as a "Piano concerto" (see Earle (2014), letters quoted, or just look at the manuscript instead, which actually says "Concerto per orchestra con pianoforte obligato"), and so recorded on Naxos.
