This Leipzig firm has published mainly works for wind instruments from about 1920 to the present: oboe (Eugen Gugel, Richard Müller-Lampertz), Clarinet (Otto Färber, Otto Pannier, Frida Kern, 1891-1988) flute (Carl Schadewitz,1887-1945) bassoon (Paul Cadow, 1908-2001) and horn (Hermann Blume 1891-1967). Scores are now distributed by Thomi-Berg of Gräfelfing near Munich, which took over the firm in 1977. Thomi-Berg also took over C.L. Schultheiss of Tubingen (1995), a specialist publisher of church music.
