Extra Information Bassoon section seems to be generally 2 (bassoons) + 1 (contrabassoon) but the 3rd movement opens with 3 bassoons, so it seems possibly more accurate to describe it as 3 bassoons (no.3 takes ...), etc. As to key, the concerto opens around E or B minor, the first movement ends in E and the finale ends in B-flat major.
