The musical numbers listing is presumable and is composed after the indications in the libretto.
In the libretto No.1 has an introductive part for Perchado and chorus and also one more chorus stanza after Perla's bolero. This means the present Romero edition is a separate print of Perla's part.
As the only two numbers of Romero's edition have plate numbers 1545 and 1544 despite being Nos. 1 and 4, these might be the only numbers published. Also, 1871 is the first year when zarzuelas by Marqués were staged. This may have been a reason to publish only best parts of the zarzuela. On the other hand, by 1871 he has already composed two symphonies.
