  • The musical numbers listing is presumable and is composed after the indications in the libretto.
  • In the libretto No.1 has an introductive part for Perchado and chorus and also one more chorus stanza after Perla's bolero. This means the present Romero edition is a separate print of Perla's part.
  • As the only two numbers of Romero's edition have plate numbers 1545 and 1544 despite being Nos. 1 and 4, these might be the only numbers published. Also, 1871 is the first year when zarzuelas by Marqués were staged. This may have been a reason to publish only best parts of the zarzuela. On the other hand, by 1871 he has already composed two symphonies.
