This Canzone does not appear in Grove Music's work list for Naumann, though under "Other vocal", it says "many It. songs pubd separately". The reference to the opera Ciro riconosciuto is on the last page of the Denkmaler edition. Naumann took the lyrics for only this aria from the libretto and used it for a canzone.
