From the limited information available it appears that The Sea Nymphs was a one act operetta in English with text by Henry Brougham Farnie and music by Charles Lecocq. It was staged no later than the fall of 1877 in England. The plot (covered in the middle of this page) doesn't seem to correspond to any of Lecocq's operettas so I assume it is a pastiche put together by Farnie based on Lecocq's music. Both Lecocq's and Farnie's Wikipedia pages make no mention of this work.
The cover page of the piano arrangement depicting two sea nymphs would appear to match the operetta's plot. Both publications above identify Purdy as the arranger but do not identify the composer.
