This piece wants to contribute to the celebration of 200 years of the famous Austrian Christmas Carol Silent Night, which was written on Christmas Eve in 1818 in the little village Oberndorf near by Salzburg in Austria. The Partita consists of 5 movements. Performers are free to choose and to perform this Partita as a whole, or single movements as single pieces, as they wish.
