The existing autograph is a manuscript copied by Franz Schubert, ca. November 1813. According to Otto Erich Deutsch, the extant part of the work consists only of measures 1-40 of the solo soprano part. The manuscript is titled "Soprano Concerto" and no author is listed. The work is included as the first page of the autograph of Schubert's "Minuet in D major", D.86 (Wiener StadtbibI., MH 124/c.). According to Karl Pfannhauser, the Offertory was first published between 1798 and 1804 in Vienna (Kleine Köcheliana: Communications of the International Foundation Mozarteum XII, 1964, pp.24-38, especially p.35).
