It's hard to establish a normative key for this work. Solo high voice and duet versions are in Ab, SATB in G, low voice in F. Violin-obbligato version is arranged by Benjamin Hamma (1831-1911).

This is a different setting from O Salutaris Hostia in G major (pub.1899).
