This work is in the public domain in the United States because it was first published before March 1, 1989, and was either first published in the United States, published in the United States within thirty days of its first publication abroad, or its author was a US citizen, and this publication occurred without a compliant copyright notice, and, if published in 1978 or later, the work did not have its copyright registered under a curing provision within five years of publication. A revised version was published in 1970, with the copyright claim restricted to new material from the later revisions.
