Navigation etc.
There are at least three masses in C major by Krommer: Op.108 (P XIX:1), P XIX:3, and P XIX:4. Of his 4 masses in the Padrta catalog, three are in C major. So this page title -is- a bit like "Piano Sonata in C major (Beethoven, Ludwig van)" or other things one's asked to avoid. - Schissel However, RISM comparison demonstrates that this is Op.108 / P XIX:1 (check RISM's many examples of Op.108 ; check the first few bars of this work.) A copy may have been made as early as 1827 from the manuscript (and is listed at RISM), but the 1842 publication above may be the first published edition. An undated first-half-of-the-19th-century manuscript copy is also in the BSB archives.
