Publisher. Info. Hans Jorgen Messerschmidt, 2019.
Copyright
Misc. Notes The arranger credits this to James Hill. However, the (complete?) collection of James Hill's music doesn't contain a piece called "Hill's Hornpipe". Since this exact tune was found (anonymously) in a different collection under the title "Marshall Hill's Hornpipe", it can be deducted that the "Hill" in the title is the Marshall, not the composer.

Published in Ryan's mammoth collection (Boston: Elias Howe, 1883), p.187, though it is not known whether that was the earliest publication. Further, although this collection is for fiddle players, this hornpipe may have originally been for any treble instrument. Tagging subject to correction.
