External Links | RISM - the RISM entry that contains the H number "783". refers to Bach as the "bearbeiter" (arranger) of Gottfried August Homilius' passion. It has a different set of voices than the uploader provided (STTBB as opposed to SSATTBB). Actually, if you look at the specifically for the work part of RISM (which I used for the listing, and which is reflected in the parts), what I listed is spot-on. The score associated with the work on Bach Digital (D-Bsa SA 37) is actually Emanuel Bach's copy of the original basis (HoWV I.10), which, for some reason, was included as source material only for this work (even though it was also source material for other works). Hence, the tags should be restored.--BachFan 17:42, 11 January 2019 (CET) |
Until voicings are established firmly, this is tagged generically for voices.
