Extra Information Based on Meyerbeer's Fackeltanz No.3 Bibliographie de la France, 1854, Paris, chez Brandus 345. Meyerbeer diaries for Tuesday January 10, 1854: Édouard Wolff and Cohen played me the 3rd Fackeltanz, which Brandus has just brought out in an arrangement for four hands by Wolff. Hermann Cohen was a noted German Jewish pianist, who studied with Liszt from age 12 and later became a Discalced Carmelite priest.
