History

London publishing house founded by singer, composer and theatre director Michael Kelly c.1800. He went bankrupt in 1811, and the business was taken over by Falkner & Christmas. This firm dissolved in 1816, the partners Charles Christmas and Henry Falkner continuing their own separate businesses.
