- That this is a work by his son Charles-Wilfrid Bériot, the pianist, again published in the 1880s (not posthumously; for his own instrument)
which seems more likely? -
Especially since the score itself just says "C. de Bériot"? (moving to C. Wilfrid de Bériot - ES)
