This Leipzig firm published mainly solo songs and male voice chorus works from 1884 until the early 20th century. It was known as just Licht from 1887. The composers included some major names such as Reinecke, Brull, Rheinberger and Gade, and some minor figures such as Brambach, Tschirsch, Karl Eduard Goepfart and G Eberhardt.
