  • According to Grove Music, this is a "collection of 24 Latin hymns by such leading composers as Josquin, Senfl, Pierre de La Rue, Mouton and Obrecht, it includes the imperial motets Virgo prudentissima by Isaac and Sancte Pater, divumque decus by Senfl, and has woodcuts by Hans Weiditz; it is the earliest printed choirbook with the separate parts set out on two facing pages." (Actually Petrucci's Motetti A was printed with this layout 18 years earlier)
