- According to Grove Music, Les courses de Tempé was "one of the few pastoral plays staged there [the Comedie-Française], was given a single performance, on 30 August 1734. The Marquis D'Argenson described Rameau's divertissement (now largely lost) as ‘pretty and well performed’."
