While BNF expands "J. Bergey" to Jeanne Bergey, the score itself has only "J. Bergey" on the title page and everywhere else.

That said, an 1884 notice in BdlF gives "BERGEY (Mlle J). - La Tour de Castel-Vieilh (souvenir de Luchon), grande valse pour piano" (my emphasis) so Jeanne seems reasonable after all...
