This is the 'In Nomine' which won the 2007 Viola da Gamba Society of Great Britain Composition Contest, where the pieces submitted were all specified to follow the 'In Nomine' format, and to be short enough to fit on a double A4 spread.
In common with the original 'In Nomine' spirit it is house music and has been played many times by amateur ensembles for fun.
This is a modern 'In Nomine' with recognisable quotes back to 16th century 'In Nomines' as well as following the Taverner plainchant structure.
