This work, whose text begins "Es keimen und knospen die Rosen" is listed by Kistner in an 1898 volume as a Romanze (with text) by F. v. Hoffnaass, thatistosay Franziska von Hoffnaass (1832-1892), Rheinberger's wife. (Which means too that it was published by Kistner sometime by 1898. In 1885, in point of fact.)
