History

This firm started in Hameln (Hamelin) a town on the river Weser in North Germany in 1876. It published a wide variety of music, from sacred choral works to dances for piano (Oscar Morley) and comic solo songs (Louis Kron). Other composers include Albert Becker and Carl Reinecke. There was also a branch in London named Oppenheimer Brothers.
