Young's first recorded work, first written for the Cooper City H.S. Time Capsule project. Inspired by the work "Their Eyes Were Watching God" by Zora Neale Hurston. Handwritten by the composer. For the premier, Young prerecorded the vibraphone part and played it back while performing the other two percussion parts, thus effectively playing all three parts by herself, and setting a trend for electronics and live performance that followed throughout her compositional career.
