History

Ch. Gevaert published popular music in Liège, then around 1870 V and Ch. Gevaert & fils had branches in both Liège and Ghent. A Charles Gevaert, probably the son, passed the business to his brother-in law Julien Brahy (1868-1938) who founded Maison Brahy in Liège in 1890.
