Extra Information Ca. 1800, Nehemiah Shumway of Schenectady NY composed a fuguing tune entitled 'Schenectady' for a paraphrase of Psalm 100. The tune is #192 in 'The Sacred Harp.' The fantasy is based upon this tune. Co-incidentally, its composer was born in Schenectady.
