The existing autograph is a manuscript copied by Franz Schubert, dating from ca.1810. The complete manuscript consists of four pages and includes nine canons by various composers: "Es packe dich das Glück beim Kragen", MH 577 (Michael Haydn), "Vom Glück sei alles dir beschert", MH 619 (Michael Haydn, or possibly Joseph Haydn), "Glück fehl dir vor allem", MH 582 (Michael Haydn), "Wohlsein und Freude", MH 584 (Michael Haydn), "Drum habe Dank, o Vater Hayden" (Franz Joseph Otter), "Adam hat siebn Söhn", MH 699 (Michael Haydn), "Cato, Plato, Cicero", MH 714 (Michael Haydn), "Was i beim Tag mit der Leiern gwinn", MH 723 (Michael Haydn), and "Alleluia", KV.553 (Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart): Wiener Stadt- bibl., MH 11804/c [PhA 1091].
The score (pdf) provided here includes only the second page of the manuscript. "Drum habe Dank, o Vater Hayden" is the third of four canons on that page.
