Kurt Weill composed the music for numbers: I, II, III, IV, VIb, IX, XII and XIII. The numbers VII, X and XV were not composed. The vocal parts to no.XI are currently missing.

Extra Information The piece was originally entitled Der Lindberghflug and tells the story of Charles Lindbergh's first flight across the Atlantic Ocean. In 1949, Bertolt Brecht removed Lindbergh's name from the text, renamed the piece Der Ozeanflug and added a prologue denouncing Lindbergh, especially for his Nazi sympathies.
