  • Edited from ms Segovia cathedral, with critical comment; no tekst survives with this piece, based upon melody of Hayne van Gizeghem. For identification of Roelkin as Rudolf Aricola see and critical note of this piece.
  • This piece could be vocal, if Van Gizeghem's melody was sufficiently well known that people would automatically know what words to sing. However, the added voice has a 2 1/2 octave range, which could well indicate an instrumental setting. Tagged for both.
