Extra Information The extant material (autograph score) is incomplete. In the first movement, the solo part is not written down; in the second movement, a section (pages 35–38) is missing, and parts of the wind section are also not written.
Dieter Klöcker’s 2001 recording (Orfeo, C170021A) is based on a reconstruction by Eberhard Buschmann (at the time, the second half of the rondeau had not yet been discovered). The slow movement was added from Clarinet Concerto No.3 by Iwan Müller, the intended soloist of Reicha's concerto.
Another reconstruction was made by Nico Bertelli in 2023.
