Whether this is the original version or a later revision based on the orchestration is unclear. (As with e.g. Liszt, a piano reduction of an orchestration is not unheard of.) Version in A major.

Orchestrated by the composer in 1880 ("refait en 1880").
The "Étude dramatique" subtitle seems to be specific to the orchestration, and probably not on the original voice/piano version.
- However, it originates with the composer and so is relevant to the tags. More specific tags are generally to be preferred in any case. BNF gives no publication earlier than 1890, and suggests that the original opus-number-less voice and piano version of 1872 stayed in manuscript (except to the extent that it's reflected in this vocal score). The parts and full score for this voice and orchestra version (which may btw differ in other ways besides orchestration- revision or complete recomposition? One would need to compare the 1872 and 1880 scores) are in manuscript at BNF.
