Italian composer. The designation of his op.1 as 'immature first fruits' suggests a birthdate not much before 1620. He was a beneficed priest and maestro di cappella of Imola Cathedral in 1646. In 1649 (or possibly 1656) he was described as a vicar of S Romano, Ferrara. By early 1650 he was maestro di cappella of the Accademia dello Spirito Santo at Ferrara [...]. From at least 1656 until his death he served as court maestro di cappella to the Duke of Mantua.
