Born 1812 in Marburg (Germany), migrated to the US. Mainly active in Nashville, Tenessee, starting from the 1840s. Became co-leader of the Nashville Academy of Music in 1855 . Composed several songs, but his biggest success was with his piano piece "The Storm" (1858).
Not to be confused with another contemporary 'Henry Weber', equally originating from Germany: Carl Heinrich Weber
